Liverpool's Star Extends Regret to Squad, Reveals Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has disclosed that Salah expressed regret to the entire Liverpool squad in the wake of the uproar from his public comments.

He was omitted from a vital match after making accusations and claiming his relationship with manager had broken down.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I'm sorry.’”
The manager has chosen not to comment publicly on whether he was apologised to from the veteran striker.

He emphasized that the dressing room atmosphere remained positive. “He was the exact same Mo, his demeanour was positive and it was business as usual,” he continued.
The midfielder also noted that a player's desire to start is preferable. “I get that there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just not start, then I think that’s more of an issue.”

Their results have stayed unbeaten in the period after the initial controversy. Jones believes the outburst were not designed to harm the team.
“If passion has boiled over, the source has been from a desire to win,” the midfielder stated. “It's behind us and we’re building chemistry, playing well and on a positive run.”
