Passionate fans of the pop star are calling for that a individual who jumped a barricade and touched the performer during Thursday's Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A viral video reveals the person identified as Johnson Wen bypassing camera operators and rushing toward Grande while the cast proceeded down a yellow carpet flanked by onlookers.

Cast member Cynthia Erivo promptly guided the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was spotted being escorted out of the event by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram Thursday evening that he was "free after being taken in", though official papers showed that he was due to attend court on the following morning. It is not clear if he was charged.

Record of Disruptions

This is part of a pattern for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has disrupted a performance. His Instagram profile features recordings of him disturbing other star-studded functions, including rushing the platform at the artist's Sydney show in recently and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers performance in the same location last year.

"There needs to be action applied against him as this is obviously a legal violation," wrote an Instagram follower, in a reply to a video Mr Wen shared of his behavior.

"Oh wow so you do this a lot... how aren't you in jail?" a different Instagram user wrote.

Supporters Show Disapproval Over Grande's Safety

Several followers blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had discussed dealing with trauma-related anxiety after a devastating incident at the finale of her 2017 concert in Manchester, killing 22 people and wounding many.

"After everything she's faced... including the Manchester attack, you considered it entertaining to rush the barrier?" wrote a further response on Instagram.

Several supporters also faulted security officers at the gathering for not being sufficiently alert; while different individuals demanded social media platforms to ban Mr Wen's uploads.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In videos shared widely, Grande seemed startled when she was touched by the intruder. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be spotted consoling her while Mr Wen was removed by security.

Grande has not issued a statement on the incident, and the premiere activities continued without further issues.
